Cherry Blossom Books is an Egyptian online book store selling books and publications. Our mission is:

To build the people of Egypt a local online store of a world-class standard. A place where they are proud to shop online. Also, to promote the culture of reading within the different categories of people specially young adults. 

We will do this by building a high quality store that is convenient, easy-to-use, has a huge selection and excellent service.

Egyptians are missing out on the convenience, selection and prices of online shops found overseas. The big international players have ignored this part of the world because the market is too small. Local traditional retailers don't want to risk a large investment online. We have taken up the challenge and will work hard to bring the people of Egypt a quality and convenient online shopping experience down under.

Company History

Cherry Blossom Books is a recently established venture by the two young founders Somaya Salama and Aya El Husseini, recently graduated from the British University in Egypt. Somaya and Aya have planned this project together since they were in college studying Business Administration (Marketing) together where they have decided to proceed with this noble mission in a private project of their own upon graduation. In 2009 the initial steps of the idea has been established and became live in 2011.

Cherry Blossom Books is operating from a newly established area in the outskirts of Cairo which is El Rehab area. The company is being operated by the founders themselves to ensure the optimum service to the valued customers around the clock
